At Yarra Anaesthetics, we’re committed to providing you and your loved ones with exceptional care in a compassionate and friendly manner. Located at Knox Private Hospital, Wantirna, we provide both in hours and out of hour services for emergency and elective procedures.  Yarra Anaesthetics provides the most comprehensive service to patients in the area. We believe that our patients deserve the best care, and we make an effort to ensure our patients are well optimised psychologically and medically for their procedure

Whether you’re coming in for a simple procedure, complex treatment regime,  elective or emergency surgery, our dedicated team of anaesthetists has the skills, knowledge and resources to manage your anaesthetic needs.  We aim to provide comprehensive preoperative optimisation through to post operative care.

Our members are all qualified medical doctors who further qualified as Specialists Anaesthetists.   We are all members of the Australian New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA).   Many have further commitments to various public hospital appointments, with commitments to teaching and training doctors and anaesthetists.
